We love our music at mwah. and regularly share recommendations – while working remotely we’ve been loving turning up the volume and enjoying listening to our own personal choices. No fighting over what to play in the office!

There have been many tracks highlighted for COVID-19 lockdowns but we (always) prefer to be optimistic about the future and getting back.

So, here’s our soundtrack  to help you and your team get back (note – we are an eclectic bunch which is evident in our choices below!):

The Explanations:

 9-5 – Dolly Parton

Will we or wont we work 9-5? Who really knows but this track always gets you singing along!

Work It – Missy Elliot

Explicit lyrics – let me work it

Team – Lorde

Back together with our teams

Together Again – Janet Jackson

This will help get your strut going heading back to the workplace.

Heigh Ho – Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs

‘Heigh Ho – it’s off to work we go’ – nothing more needed to be said!

Come Together – Beatles

Believed to be a song the Beatles wrote to build their bonds again and unite as one – ironically apt for us right now! Each verse is about one of the Beatles (apparently).

A Whole New World – from Aladdin

Disney always makes you feel good and as we embark on ‘a whole new world’ who wouldn’t want to take a magical carpet ride?!

The Office them song – from The Office TV Show

Who doesn’t love the office – but will we love our offices when we return? And do you have a Dwight/Michael/Pam in your office that you’ve avoided while working remotely?

Banana Boat Song – Harry Belafonte

Upbeat fun

Better Together – Jack Johnson

‘It’s always better when we are together’ – Jack lifts us up with a beautiful song.

Better Be Home Soon – Crowded House

That feeling we might feel a little uncomfortable those first few days back and coming home will be super nice again!

Lost Stars – Adam Levine

We’re all lost stars, trying to light up the dark – embodies that we’re all in this together.

I’m a Believer – the Monkeys

Doesn’t really need any explanation! Keep believing.

Good Vibrations – Beach Boys

Fill the workplace with good vibrations.

Walking on Sunshine – Katrina and the Waves

Uplifting and fun – fun to be back with all our work buddies

I Feel Good – James Brown

We all want to feel good heading back into the workplace – James will help you to feel that vibe!

Don’t Stand So Close to Me – The Police

This track is for all those commuting via train/tram/buses. Those first journeys will definitely be a worry for many.

Superstition – Stevie Wonder

Many of us will feel superstitious – we particularly like the line ‘wash your face and hands’.

Like Real People Do – Hozier

Because we’re not all virtual all the time.

Chain Gang – Sam Cooke

It’s not back to the chain gang, but the beat will make you groove right back in.

Manic Monday – Bangles

Because we’re looking forward to those crazy Mondays we used to hate.

What a Wonderful World – Loius Armstrong

Because it is so good to back amongst this great big beautiful world.

I Want You Back – The Jackson 5

Your workplace wants you back – you want to be back!

Minority – Green Day

Because you might not be the only person who’s pretty excited about being back together. Besides no playlist is complete without Green Day.

The Smiths – Frankly, Mr Shankly

The way NOT to tender a resignation letter, but a fun little one from the legendary Smiths.

She Works Hard for the Money – Donna Summer

Given social distancing, not THAT hard really
