For 2013’s NSW Autism Recognition Awards Ceremony, held on April 9th, Autism Spectrum Australia decided to place recognition on the leadership within the community.
This year, our CEO Rhonda Brighton-Hall was recognised as an integral part of this community and awarded Patronage and Partnership Award.
Here’s what they had to say:
Despite losing her son, Hugo, in an accident in 2009, Rhonda has continued to work tirelessly for others with autism. Her efforts include facilitating business skills workshops for Aspect staff, donating prizes in support of fundraising events and activities, donating her professional fee for her many public speaking engagements, and taking every opportunity to inform audiences about autism.
