What is followership?
Followership is a really cool way to look at leadership. It’s possibly even cooler than leadership itself.
It’s defined as “the capacity or willingness to follow a leader”, and for leaders, that is everything. Without followers, you simply can’t lead.
So, as a leader, you should care a whole lot about your followers – who they are, why they follow you and whether or not they’re doing well by following you. In short, we can measure whether a leader is a good leader or not by looking at their followers.
